CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

• Total Internal Reflection Microscopy based measurements of particle-particle and particle-wall interactions

• Confocal Scanning Laser Microscopy measurements of concentrated colloidal phase behavior at interfaces

• light and x-ray scattering studies of bulk colloidal interactions, structure, dynamics, and phase behavior

• rheological measurements of mixed colloidal and polymeric systems undergoing thermodynamic phase transitions

• microscopy measurements monitoring thermodynamic structure formation and interactions for colloidal deposition on chemically and physically templated surfaces
