Studying layer-by-layer assembly of nanocomposite thin films for electronic,
biomedical, optical and flame retardant applications. Also studying bulk polymer
nanocomposites with unique transport and optical behavior.
Guest edited special issue of Review of Scientific Instruments.
Invited speaker for ACS and MRS national meetings.

July 2004 Senior Research Engineer
Research and development of polymer-based electronic and biological materials
for new business development.
Created novel antimicrobial coating for wound care. Created novel electrochromic films for display devices. First-authored book chapter on combinatorial materials science.
Wrote 10+ invention disclosures (seven are now pending patents).
