At Texas A&M University, more than 10 undergraduate and graduate courses are offered by polymers faculty members. Graduate studies in Polymer Science and Engineering are both administered through the mechanical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering and civil engineering departments.

Students pursue the polymers emphasis within their respective departments or in an interdisciplinary engineering program entitled Mechanics and Materials. The curriculum covers chemistry, structure, characterization, processing, property, mechanics, rheology, and structural designs of polymers.

 

Developing a diverse background provides students with the breadth required to prepare for careers in this exciting field.
