To direct and conduct research on high performance functional materials for nanotechnology, biotechnology and micro-/nano-electronics packaging applications; surface damage phenomena of polymers; structure-property relationship in polymers, blends, polyolefin films, fiber-reinforced composites, adhesives and nanocomposites.
